An experienced business leader based in San Jose, California, Elliot Sands is a co-founder of CirrusMD, a Denver, Colorado, company designed to break down barriers between patients and doctors. Elliot Sands was responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the company, including accounting, financing, banking, and purchasing, as well as employee onboarding. Under his leadership, CirrusMD has completed up to a round-C in financing and has worked with major health care systems throughout the United States.
In 2021, Elliot Sands expanded his professional activities by becoming the chief operating officer of SHP Foundation in Palo Alto. He was responsible for all operations at the $14 million foundation, which provides low-income and homeless housing services. He oversees similar community concerns as a board member with Missions Door.
Elliot Sands holds a degree in religious studies from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. He continued his education at San Jose State University, earning a master of business administration. He then furthered his religious education by earning a master of divinity in theology at Western Seminary.
